At Merial, we believe the best customers are educated customers. Our Veterinary Services team is committed to sharing knowledge that helps our customers make the best possible choices for the health of their flocks and their business.

Through lectures, online resources, and smaller classroom sessions tailored to individual businesses—and guided by the interests and priorities of our customers—we offer educational initiatives covering such topics as:

  • Emerging diseases, and new strains of known diseases
  • Epidemiology and disease spread
  • Poultry immune health and immunology advances
  • Vaccination trends and new biologic and equipment technologies
  • Results and implications of scientific studies

We also partner with our Vaccination Technologies and Services (VTS) group to offer practical, hands-on hatchery and field training in diagnostics, monitoring, quality control, and more.

Making important research more accessible

One of the top priorities of our Veterinary Services group is to stay current with the latest research on avian health and vaccination—and to keep our customers equally informed, through helpful resources that summarize key information succinctly for busy business people.

Since 2009 we’ve been publishing our VAXXITEK® News technical newsletter, a bibliographic review of the published literature related to VAXXITEK® HVT + IBD, to help poultry producers around the world better understand the vaccine’s use, value, and practical applicability.
